From preserving produce to learning the finer points of making your own gnocchi, these workshops are an ideal way to sharpen your kitchen skills ahead of the summer entertaining season.
Why should the big name chefs have all the fun? At Gourmet Village this year, we’ll be running a series of practical, useful workshops designed to help people level up their cooking game – just in time for the summer entertaining season.
Run by Salt & Company Cooking School, each 45-minute workshop is about teaching people kitchen skills that they’ll be able to use forever. In addition to taking home cooking know-how, students will also be able to take home something from every class, from a jar of pasta sauce to go with their handmade gnocchi, to their own pickled vegetables to enjoy after the festival is over. Local Margaret River produce will be used throughout all these classes and classes will be conducted in a hands-on format.
Please note: due to the nature of the workshops Village Workshops are only suitable for adults.
