While travel as we know it has changed due to COVID-19, adventure is NOT cancelled. From coastal sunsets to waterfalls and wineries – including the world-renowned Margaret River and the state’s oldest wine growing region, the Swan Valley – the road ahead is brimming with adventure.

Now’s the time to start planning and exploring your own backyard. Because believe us, it’s worth the wait…

Margaret River

Known world-over for its top-notch local produce and award-winning wineries, the Margaret River region also plays home to Western Australia Gourmet Escape. This year is no exception, with Gourmet Escape set to return in November 2020, transforming the South West into an epicurean hub of culinary delights. From sunset seafood sessions with your toes in the sand to high-end cellar door tastings and one-of-a-kind gourmet dinners, now is the time to #supportlocal and indulge in the delights of Margaret River’s famous produce. A full program for Gourmet Escape 2020 will be released soon.

The Margaret River region is now open to neighbouring borders and ready to welcome Western Australians who are able to visit. For more information on where to stay and how to navigate your way around the Margaret River click here.

While interstate and international borders are closed, travel dreaming is still on the menu. Gourmet Escape returns to Perth in November 2020 with a number of exciting culinary events on the program. It’s the perfect excuse for a city staycation or beachside getaway, blending top-notch culinary delights with dolphin swims, spectacular sunsets and bustling urban cool.

International & Interstate Travel

Interstate and international travel is currently restricted into Western Australia.

We’ll continue to monitor the coronavirus situation, take advice from the Department of Health and provide international/interstate travel updates where possible on our website. We also encourage you to follow travel advice from sources like the WHO, CDC for the U.S., local authorities and your own State/Territory Government.

Staying home is essential right now, but ‘right now’ won’t mean forever.
