David Brodziak started making knives as a hobby in his garage in Albany in 1989. David and Gail have been running DP Brodziak Custom Knives as a full time business for 26 years. This will be their seventh year at the Margaret River Gourmet Escape displaying a full range of culinary, hunting, fishing and art knives.
“We have designed and supplied steak knives for upmarket restaurants including the Momofuku Seiobo restaurant at the Sydney Star Casino and the Black Hide Steakhouse in Brisbane. Our knives are sought after nationally and internationally by collectors and knife users who are after that special unique custom made ‘one off’ knife.”
“We enjoy speaking to the public regarding the variety of steels I have available to use to make my blades as well as the huge array of high-class timbers and other materials we have at our fingertips available to make each handle unique. Most of the timbers are sourced from the arid areas of Western Australia.”
