Like many brave and foolish endeavours, the decision to bottle and spread Stank Sauce far and wide was made during a boozy holiday dinner… somewhere between mains and dessert.
Ol Yella’s founder and head chilli-maker, Lynne, created Stank Sauce by drawing on her Singaporean roots; love of fun, social eating; and cooking with great local produce.
It has been a whirlwind since Stank hit the shelves of our first retailers 12 months ago. You can find Stank in approximately 25 exclusive gourmet and specialty stores across Perth, the Margaret River region and Exmouth, as well as at markets and events around town. It’s been a blast and we’ve got so much more on the go – so stay tuned!
Stank Sauce is made to the highest quality in small-batches, right here in Perth. Each bottle contains only the freshest, locally sourced chillies, Australian limes, and our signature stanky ingredient.
This original recipe makes for some seriously good eatin’. Chilli mussels, guac, stirfries, pasta, curry – you name it, Stank with it, and we want to share it with you!
We’ll be doing complimentary tastings all day at the Ol Yella’s stand. Visitors will be able to enjoy delicious samples of Stank and our free recipes will show you how to get the most out of your bottle!
