v2food is an Australian company with a global vision.
We've created a version 2 of meat, because we don't have a version 2 of the planet.
For millennia, animal meat has been a valuable part of most people’s diets. Global meat consumption is rising, and as we move towards a population of 10 billion by 2050 the question is not how to get rid of animal meat, but how to make more meat without farming more animals.
Animal agriculture is a leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, land degradation and biodiversity loss worldwide. Growing plants to make meat allows us to take CO2 out of the air and put it back in the soil to directly tackle climate change.
We love meat, and we are on a mission to make our products delicious, nutritious and sustainable for generations to come.

Eating less meat shouldn't mean giving up the dishes you know and love. We've designed v2 to look, cook and taste like meat so that you can keep enjoying your favourite meals in a way that loves the planet back.

Meat is a nutritional powerhouse... that's why we've created version 2. When you taste our products you can rest assured you're getting the same hit of protein, iron, zinc, phosphorus and vitamins B12, B3 and B6 as beef mince plus a healthy dose of dietary fibre and naturally no cholesterol.
GOOD FOR THE PLANET
We are working towards the ambitious goal of making v2food a carbon negative company, and are constantly revising our manufacturing processes to minimise our carbon footprint as well as the other resources we use to make our products. Because sustainability is at the core of everything we do - from plant to plate and we will continue to innovate!
