Biography

Thee Shucker was established in 2010 as Carl felt that he wanted to focus all of his attention on his big passion which is oysters! Carl is a qualified chef who started his career at the Oyster Bar, South Perth in 2004 where he would shuck oyster’s day in day out. From there Carl worked at different high-end restaurants around Perth including Zafferano’s and the Riverbank Estate. Carl worked for Panorama Catering where he was Sous Chef for Don Hancey for several years. Carl is also a qualified Tafe lecturer and has a real passion for teaching people how to cook. Carl has taken all of these experience and his passion for food and has put that into Thee Shucker.

Since being established in 2010 Thee Shucker has grown into Perth’s premier live oyster shucking experiences. As Carl is a chef he also brings his passion and knowledge of food to all of his events and provides exceptional catering packages to suit everything. Carl has a team of experienced shuckers that work for him and together we provide the best quality oysters and the perfect addition to your next event.
