Sean arrived in Australia in 1988 on a working holiday, but soon fell in love with the local weather, produce and burgeoning food scene. It has been his home ever since.
He now has 7 restaurants Australia and New Zealand: ‘The Balcony’ in Byron Bay, ‘The Morrison’ in Sydney’s CBD, ‘Sean’s Kitchen’ in Adelaide, ‘The Grill’ and ‘Gusto at the Grand’ in Auckland, ‘The Bon Pavilion’ in Gosford and ‘Steak & Co by Sean Connolly’ at West HQ in outer Sydney.
Sean is proud to be one of American Airlines Celebrity Chefs. He has starred in 5 TV series, which have aired Internationally – ‘My Family Feast’, ‘Under The Grill’, ‘On The Grill’, ‘Sean’s Kitchen’ and ‘Sean’s Kitchen 2’.
Sean has a range of Sean Connolly branded retail and commercial products, from hot sauce to hand-selected extra virgin olive oil. He is also a much-sought after consultant chef, working closely with global hotels, and restaurant groups to introduce his much-awarded style of cuisine to their offerings.
